After having a light breakfast, Josie applied her make-up, took one last look around before gathering up her coat and case. She snatched up her purse and keys, then set off for the mountains.
Stopping off at a shop along the way, Josie bought a few provisions, and then drove off taking a leisurely journey into the mountains.. With windows down, and a light breeze in her hair as she made her way to the cabin that was owned by Sandra.
Josie arrived at about 2pm; there were a few other cabins scattered about, but Sandra's held prime position, and there were some wonderful views to be had. Josie parked her car and took her belongings inside. She quickly unpacked, and went off to gather some logs for the fire.
Josie's presence there had been noticed by the residents of one or two other cabins, but she never noticed. All she cared about was that it was calm and peaceful, with the sun shining down, on the wonderful view that surrounded the place. At that moment in time, to her, this place seemed like a piece of heaven on earth.
Josie stood tall, and stretched, flinging both arms up into the air. She expanded her lungs as breathed in and exhaled deeply, taking in the fresh, mountain air. "Ah, this is a life's. It's wonderful," she said out loud.
"It is, isn't it," a bright, cheerful voice called from somewhere behind her.
Josie turned around swiftly, to see who had spoken, but there was no one obvious.
