“Mm nice choice of music hon, to go with good wine. See, I told you I don't believe in half measures.”
Judy laughed. “I can see that.” She got up and helped her with the drink, noticing as she did that Linda's robe had half opened, revealing the curves that Judy had imagined previously.
Once the wine was poured, glasses to the full, they sat back down near the fire, Judy readily accepting the drink that was offered.
She took a large gulp, then spluttered as she went red, almost choking on her mouthful. she had to put her glass down quickly. Linda patted her back until she stopped, and thanked Linda, laughing.
Judy slipped her arm around her friend and gave her a squeeze, inadvertently catching a ticklish spot on her side.
Linda giggled. “I have a huge downfall. I'm ticklish. Please don't use it against me.”
Judy swiftly changed the subject." Linda, you've kept very quiet about your love life with Charlie recently. How's it going with him?”
“Ha! I haven't told you any more because there is no love life and he wasn't worth mentioning. We are no more, should never have been. Tongue tickling Charlie loves himself and is the company predator. No, I'm glad I told him to fuck off when I did.”
“Never mind hon I'm sure you'll find someone to love you for the wonderful gorgeous looking woman that you are.”
“Well, It's very kind of you to describe me in such a way, but I'm still rattling around in this big house all by myself.” She topped their glasses up.
“It's such a lovely house; I can tell, and I've only seen a little of it. All I can say is I hope there is someone for you soon.” Judy hugged her again. “And maybe, who knows, when you do, the luck will rub off onto me and I will find someone too.”
“Time will tell,” smiled Linda, as she pulled her robe sleeve, that had fallen down off her shoulder, back up.
