Judy sat facing the door to keep an eye on those coming in and going out. Cupping her hands around the Cappuccino to keep warm, blew the froth gently across the top before sipping her drink. She realized that the bad weather must be quite persistent judging by how grimy the floor was getting as wet soled shoes trudged through belonging to rain dodging journey makers.
Judy's mood, which had been so happy earlier, was becoming as gloomy as the weather outside. She flicked her hair back and shivered as a few raindrops found their way inside her coat, touching her skin. Linda smiled however, as looking up a familiar faced woman opened the door glanced around and came in upon noticing Judy sitting there.
Linda stood taller than Judy and had a more voluptuous frame, which at that moment was covered in a white, hooded leather macintosh with a tie belt around her waist that accentuated her figure. She also wore knee length high heel white leather boots.
Linda wiped her feet and brushed the hood down from her head. She tossed a shock of long, wavy blond hair back and her blue eyes sparkled as she walked over to Judy. “I recognized you straight away from your pictures.” she said sitting down opposite her friend. “I'm so sorry for being late. I had to pick up a few bits of shopping on the way here and traffic was horrific.”
Judy pushed her coffee cup toward Linda. “Here, you must be gasping, I know I was. There's about half the coffee left. Have a sip while I get another cup for you.”
Linda however shook her head. “No, a sip will do fine thanks. Besides, we had better get going in a few minutes. Then she lifted the white cup to her full pink lips and rolled it around them. She looked over the top of the cup, never taking her eyes off Judy while she and took a long drink.
Judy in turn watched her and soft gazes locked, never shifting. Eventually the spell broke, and Linda put the cup down. She reached over across the table and with beautifully manicured fingers, lightly touched the top of Judy's hand.
