The sun fell warm on her face and body, cheering Angelique up. It's rays filtered through the trees' boughs, which, heavily laden with green leaves, overhung the river, like a huge majestic archway.
Angelique dangled a fair arm into the rippling river, and gathered up one of the blooms that carpeted the water. Holding it to her chest, she thought, I'm done with my past life. Wherever the boat stops, I will begin again.
